„Nach Feierabend gehören Mama und Papa mir“ – Extended IBM Traveler Management

Eine Vielzahl der Beschäftigten ist heute auch außerhalb der eigentlichen 

Arbeitszeiten mobil erreichbar. Was Fluch und Segen zugleich ist.

Aus diesem Grund beschäftigen sich immer mehr Unternehmen mit dem „Recht
auf Unerreichbarkeit“. Neben der Politik nehmen sich immer mehr
Arbeitsrechtler und auch der DGB diesem Thema an.
Das was den Unternehmen und vor allem den verantwortlichen Administratoren
aber fehlt, ist die Möglichkeit dies auch tatsächlich in der Praxis
umzusetzen. Für Führungskräfte und Management ist es z.B. unverzichtbar
ihre E-Mails auch außerhalb der Kernarbeitszeit auf ihren mobilen
Endgeräten zu empfangen. Kollektive Maßnahmen wie das Abschalten der
E-Mail Dienste halten die meisten Unternehmen darum nicht durch. Gefordert
ist eine flexible Lösung für unterschiedlichen Mitarbeitergruppen.

Genau hier setzt midpoints traveler.rules an. Die Session zeigt
anschaulich wie es möglich ist, mittels traveler.rules zentral auf dem IBM
Traveler Server individuelle Zeitprofile für Arbeitszeiten, Urlaube oder
Feiertage zu erstellen.
Damit ist sichergestellt, dass Ihre mobilen Mitarbeiter „den Feierabend
und Urlaub genießen können“.
